Specializing in refrigerated long haul freight, Kelle’s Transport Service Inc, Salt Lake City UT, has seen steady growth over the past 14 years. Today the carrier runs 325 tractors and 505 refrigerated trailers. More growth is coming in the next year as the carrier adds more equipment.
Kelle Simon started Kelle’s Transport Service Inc in 2002 with a single used tractor.
After outgrowing its previous location, Kelle’s Transport Service moved to a more spacious headquarters location in September.
Maintenance facilities at the new headquarters terminal were thoroughly refurbished including installation of a new epoxy floor coating throughout the shop and offices.
Carrier Transicold of Utah handles refrigeration unit service and repair at the Salt Lake City headquarters terminal.
New trailers are spec’d with Carrier Transicold’s X4 7300 nose-mount refrigeration unit.
Utility side skirts are specified on the new refrigerated trailers.
Transport Security’s Enforcer locking system is specified on trailer doors.
Fiberglass reinforced plastic interior wall liners have integrated wear bands for greater protection from forktruck damage.
Insulated Transport Products’ Tube Chute manages refrigeration unit air flow.
Hendrickson’s Vantraax suspension includes Tiremaax tire inflation management.
