Choptank Transport announced that it has been selected as one of the Washington Post Top Workplaces.
The award aligns with Choptank Transport’s mission statement, crafted back in 2002: “By providing an exceptional work environment, our team will be better able to provide superior service to our customers, offering effective and efficient freight management solutions.”
The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. An employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics LLP, a company that researches organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 40 major publishing partners across the United States. Over the past year, more than 5,000 organizations and one in every 88 employees in the nation have turned to WorkplaceDynamics to better understand what’s on the minds of their employees.
“We’ve always been fortunate to have an extremely dedicated group of employees with a strong work ethic,” said Geoff Turner, president/chief executive officer. “A large part of Choptank’s success can be attributed to the staff’s can-do spirit and interdepartmental team work. Being a recipient of the Top Workplaces award tells prospective talent that Choptank has a lot to offer.”
The Washington Post published the complete list of Top Workplaces on June 22nd. For more information, access www.topworkplaces.com and www.workplacedynamics.com.
